Escape Together World Tour Ends

KEITH CONCLUDES NORTH AMERICAN LEG OF HIS “ESCAPE TOGETHER WORLD TOUR” WITH KC MASTERPIECE® AND KINGSFORD® SPONSORED BY VERIZONThe sixty-four U.S. and Canadian concerts that were the North American leg of Keith Urban’s “Escape Together World Tour” were universally praised as “Urban’’s shining moment”, a “musical tour de force” and “a concert event not to missed”, by journalists across the country. It was not only seen by more people than any other Urban tour, but as numbers continue to be tabulated, it appears as though it will mark Urban’s highest grossing concert tour to date, which leaves no question that it will fall high on the list of country’s top tours for ’09.And the show left nothing behind with 13 semis criss-crossing the United States and Canada, carrying the massive stage and lighting production over more than 31,000 miles on 73,272 gallons of bio diesel. The 3500 square foot stage, nearly 100 electric chain hoists, 120 moving, fully computerized lights and enough cabling to turn on the Hollywood sign from New York City were put into place for each show by nearly 120 crew members.
